Bosch Washer Error Codes

If you notice that something has gone wrong with your washing machine, do not call an engineer or a professional repairman right away. A lot of people instantly call for help when they notice that something has gone wrong with their washing machines when it fact, they can identify faults in the machine themselves through Bosch washer error codes.
These error codes are common in most modern washing machines and most, if not all, Bosch washers also carry this feature. If you notice error codes popping in the display of your washer, do not panic and jump to the conclusion that something terribly wrong has happened with it.
Even if error codes signify that something is faulty with your machine, it does not automatically translate to something irreparable for you.
There are many obvious errors that generate error codes and whose solutions are easy enough for you. These errors are very simple that when you call an engineer and discover what the errors mean, they might make you feel simple-minded for calling the engineers before checking your machine out first.
Some of the obvious faults include a machine that carries too much water or when the machine refuses to drain itself of water which can be a direct reason why there is too much water in the first place.
If you get error codes that tell you that this is the problem (check user manual for the meanings of the error codes you are getting), you can easily troubleshoot the problem yourself.
Most machines, including Bosch washers have a drain-only function. This function allows the user to easily activate the mechanism of the washer that opens the drain and let the water that is inside the washer out of the machine.
This might take some time depending on the size of the washing machine but usually, it would take only several minutes to an hour.
If you notice, after turning on the drain-only function, that no water is being drained, there is most likely a blockage somewhere in the machine. You can then easily check for little clothing items such as socks or underwear that might have been blocking the drainage path.
This problem is only some of the many problems that your washer is encountering that you can solve yourself. If you have exhausted all possible solutions and find that none of them works, it’s time that you call technical support for help.
