You might not be aware of this but a front loader washing machine is much gentler on your clothes than the top loader. The one thing the front loader machine is tough on though is your wallet. They are not very cheap. For a decent front loader machine, you will have to pay in the area of around a thousand dollars.
A top loader washing machine has some benefits which is the time it takes to finish your clothes is shorter and the machine itself is cheaper, it will not be as good for your clothes as the more expensive front loader. Although the Frigidaire washer consumer reports indicate that a front loader is the best machine to buy, the top loader is almost just as good.
