Kenmore Washer Error Codes

When it comes to the Kenmore washer error codes, you should know a few of them. They might differ, but here is what you might come across when you go to use it and it starts acting up on you. This might help you along the way.
The first one we are going to tell you about is the low water filter. This would be in the water supply. To show you that this is what is wrong, you will see the F1 error code. There are two things that you need to do. You first need to check the water supply machine. You might even have to replace the water inlet valve.
The next code you might need to know about as it might come up is the F2. This means that the water level might be too high. What could be the reason for this is that it could be clogged. You might also have a bad water pump. You might also find that you have a bad water valve. This is what that means.
Then there is F3. The F3 error code tells you that there is a pump problem. What you need to do with this is check the trap. If the trap is dirty, then it’s real simple to try to fix it. All you need to do is clean it. See if that works. If it doesn’t you might need to have someone come out to look at it.
Following F3 is F4. This is a Thermistor problem. You might find that the reason for this is due to the bad wiring that might be in the thermistor. You might have to take it out and replace it in any case.
If you get an F5 error code, you might find that the temperature cannot get to 90 degrees. Therefore, you might have a faulty thermal cutout. You need to first check the heating element. If that doesn’t work, then you might need to check the thermostat. Then, you come to F6 error code which is the motor. You’ll want to make sure that you check the wiring as well as replacing the motor if you so need to.
The last two codes which are F7 and OO are quite common as well. F7 will tell you that the door lock doesn’t work. This could be due to a bent pull out rod which is a part of the door latch or it could mean that you have a bad door latch solenoid. The 00 means that it didn’t spin.
Therefore you need to check your load and redistribute it then try running the load again. These might differ the ones we just told you about, but these are the most common types that most machines use to tell you that something is wrong and what might be wrong.
