A review of samsung washer consumer reports found very high scores for this washer. This front loading machine was reported to have excellent ratings in review sites as well as in professional sites. It also earned a top honors in a recent customer survey of over a thousand consumers.
The washers were reviewed according to model, with the Samsung WF218ANW receiving the highest ratings. It is 4.0 cubic foot and has 4 spin speeds, 4 temperature settings and ten wash cycles. Its estimated sales price is $800.00 to $900.00.
It carries a one, two, three and five years warranty on various parts. The machine can be placed on top of a dryer if desired. It is also Energy Star rated for energy savings. It was found to excel in water efficiency and capacity.
The machine received 4.8 and 4.5 stars in 100 reviews held at different retail outlets. Users commented on its extra large capacity, a great spin cycle and no vibration problems. They also stated that clothes were coming out cleaner.
The only negative comments that were reported concerned a moisture build up along the door’s seal which could cause mold or a musty odor.

There were complaints regarding this model concerning malfunction on the control panel and a ‘moldy smell”. There was some concern, also, that the silver bars used in the machine might cause harm to the environment, however EPA has not verified this as true.
