Samsung Washers Compared to LG Washers

To try to research the value of Samsung washers compared to lg washers is like trying to compare two different brands of oranges. Both are imported Asian machines, both wash clothes, both received a high ranking in a user survey. The actual difference in the survey was only 2 per cent.

When purchasing a washing machine the purchaser asks very little. They ask that it be easy to use, is the size of machine needed, completes the cycles in a reasonable amount of time, gets the clothing clean and is energy efficient with a low noise factor.

They are also interested in any warranties should anything go wrong, the return policy and the price of the machine.

Apparently both machines meet these goals. Then one comes to the matter of style and design. Depending on the price, there are added features such as how many water levels, what type of cycles it has (i. E. Wash and wear, delicate wash, regular wash and so forth.

The Samsung model is listed as having sanitizing silver ions which are released with every wash. It is stated that they sanitize the clothes, without bleach and remove 99% of the odor, regardless of the type of fabric being washed. Washing is done in cold water, which saves on heating bills.

It is a front loading machine and has a number of features, depending on the model. Some have a steam feature which is used for removing wrinkles and for delicate fabric. In addition, it features a special ‘no vibration’ feature, which assures quiet during the washing cycles. Models with 9 to 12 cycles are available.

The LG washer is advertised as having a large load capacity while fitting into the same space as one’s old, regular style washer, being energy efficient, being able to handle 50% more than other machines of the same dimensions, and has 20% reduction in energy consumption.

They also claim that allergens are completely eliminated, leaving no allergic reactions from dust mites, detergent, etc. The LG also has the steam feature to remove wrinkles and accommodate delicate fabrics.

Both models are the largest steam washers available at the present time and both have models in various sizes and prices. Consumers testimonials phrase both machines as fulfilling the claims made in advertising.

Again, one can purchase whichever one is desired at a price to fit the budget. They are both front loading and use less water than the old style washer.
